Writing transition scenes is hard. Writing with a cat on your lap is even harder. Getting back into the writing groove after a half-hour phone call with your dad is the hardest.

But I got 533 words written, created a new antagonist out of thin air, and am most of the way through Part Fourteen of You Will Find Your Way.

So I’m going to call this a win.

Background noise: Flashpoint on Hulu. I just really love Amy Jo Johnson and Enrico Colantoni.

Yes, I did grow up on a steady diet of Power Rangers and Veronica Mars. One got me through elementary school and the other got me through high school. And one day I will talk about not being ashamed to talk about the things I loved when I was a kid.
