And I HATED job hunting. Both times.

But as I sit, knee deep in my first batch of query letters for the #WhoIsTalyaNightingale manuscript, I feel a lot like I did the spring of my senior year of college when I was searching for a full-time media relations internship with a Division I athletic program.

And funny enough, had I not gotten the job I did get, the #WhoIsTalyaNightingale novel (and impending future series) would probably not be a thing. Point A led directly to Point B.

Imagine that.

Now that I know that my former career was not what I want to spend my life doing, searching for an agent to represent me and my manuscript really feels like job hunting because I DO want to spend the rest of my life writing novels. As I take the traditional publishing route, finding an agent really is the first step to doing that.

More on querying and my process toward becoming a published author to come.
