Please do not annoy the writer. She may put you in a book and kill you.

I’m definitely one of those writers, especially in my earlier works. People have been burned hard. They say, “write what you know”, but if you do that, I’d probably get into trouble. Not that my story isn’t awesome, it’s just that too many people know who’s involved with the stories for me to get away with telling them.

One day, though.

But the point that you can take to this week’s motivation is to take your inspiration literally ANYWHERE you can get it. Don’t worry about where you get it from, because it’s very likely that by the time you get your story done and polished, only the bare bones of that original source of inspiration is going to be left intact.

Writing is a process, a long one. Where you start is not where you’re going to end up, but the point is that to get to the end, you have to start, and you have to do whatever it is you need to do to make it possible to tell you story.

Here’s to a productive week of writing. Don’t forget to sign up for the #MondayMotivation Newsletter by clicking HEREThe next newsletter is slated to land in your inbox tonight!
