You’re going to be someone’s favorite author

Hell, if you share your work with family and friends, you probably already are.

It’s so easy to get bogged down by the overwhelming fact that you’re trying to write a novel. Novels are HUGE. Writing something between 50,000 and 90,000 words (or more) is beyond difficult. There are moving parts on moving parts on moving parts, tricky plots and stuff that you may want to write, but just don’t know how.

So it can be easy to forget that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. It may take years, but if you persevere, if you keep working and writing and editing and rewriting and editing some more and moving things around, you’re going to get to wherever you want to be in your writing career.

You have to keep going, and you have to remember that if you do, you will become one of those people who’s name is at the top of someone’s list of their All-Time Favorite Authors.

Here’s to a productive week of writing.
