Your character, the epitome of all that is good, is in a rare book store. The owner comes out of the back, grins, and says, “Hello. I am the embodiment of all evil. You and I are going to get along just fine.”
“If my legacy is to throw myself in the path of a bullet to save your life, then so be it.”
“That’s definitely not true.” “Of course it is. I read it on Wikipedia.”
“Are you sure this is safe?” “Yes. Say the words. Make them into truth.”
“I’d hug you right now, but you’re covered in evidence. And I also really don’t want to.” “Evidence is a really nice euphemism for blood, gore, and guts.” “You’re totally missing the point. Do you know how pissed I am at you right now?”
